im gonna design my own paint scheme for my welding helmets

does anyone else have some custom art on theirs?

haha thats nice idk what im gonna do im thinking about making it look lke rat finks face or doin some pinstriping on it

 

A little rattle can paint, some stickers, and lots of scars.

 

I don't have any other pics I will take some later.

Only stickers..... I couldn't have a nice paint job for the places I get stuck in. The people I work for love me... I have wrecked 3 helmets... 2 started on fire from sparks.... the other one had water dumped on it from where I left it lay when I went to lunch.

 

do ya guys with the nice helmets have 2 one shitty one for jammng your head in all kinds of cramped dirty dark places and the nice one for easy welds, cause i know how fucked up mine got when ya gotta get that big helmet under a car

 

Flop..i have three. the one i posted just hangs on the wall. one i use for Tig welding , and the last one for Mig , and as you guessed looks like crap

thats what i told they guy i work with when i came in one day to work with the 29 roadster miller helmet. it dont matter just repaint it... i layed down some silver with red and gold pearl in it as a base and then some purple with gold, red and blue pearl in it. i order Lil Daddy Roth metal flake for Alex Gambino. Beatnick Purple its pretty bad as looking should have it after Christmas. 20$ for 4 oz and shipping figure it was good prize Alex is a great guy. Im gonna put the flake in the clear coat them pinstrip over the top of that.

Exactly!! Just repaint it. Luckily, the kid that striped my helmet lives down the street so we trade out striping for welding or tool loans. Works out for both of us.

 

This is my cheep snap on one..I have an auto darkening hobart hood with flames as well but no pics of it..

 

Yeah I've got a few but this is the only one I've painted, and tend to only use it for tig and not when my heads squeezed in somewhere.

 

TIG weld everything!!!
