    Holy shit Jim!
That's on hell of a find there....it sure would be nice if that stuff could be saved before mother nature and that cow shit finishes them all off....if it's not too late already.
    Wow....

  6. I'd take a Simplex of ANY kind- worked on one some years back for a fellow that was offered 3/4 of a million for his- he turned it down!

I agree, the Allstate converible looks homemade, but there were a few Henry J's that were custom-built I believe by the Kaiser design team as convertibles- can't find the article, but it's in a back issue of either Collectible Automobile or Automobile Quarterly.

  8. They guy loves having good people around (as he says), he kicks out the ones who come in and try to start talking $$$. If he likes you, he does like me, he has offered up some of the smaller stuff to me, but nothing I really wanted. Hint, Hint Blue Roadster, Hint, Hint.

That TT with the wooden closed cab is a common sight. There were many, many makers of cabs for the TT chassis across the nation. The cowl and chassis TTs were not steel bodied by Ford until the C-Cab Express and the "Phone-booth" Closed Cab Express arrived in 1925(used until 27).
Oddly, the fabled 23 T roadster pickup was not a 23 at all, but was introduced in 1925. The beds were sold as retro-fits for previous years throughout the next few years.

It was a privelege for you to be allowed to look at all that great stuff and share it with the rest of us. It's his stuff so let him do with it what he will.
By the way, The BB truck in the second picture is a 34, note the blue oval in a chrome nosepiece, the wide stainless trim ring around the grille bars, and the dip in the hood louvers where the flat V8 emblems go just under the stamped Ford ovals(both missing on this hood).

Looked it up on my trusty Rand McNally Trip Maker software
(circa1997) and there it is near Albany NY.

  17. pasadena, the TT truck is an early milk truck. The bed was full of original milk cans. It was used for transporting the milk from the farms to the dairy or cheese plants. Cool looking piece, still runs, he started it for me. Odd to hear one of those very early 4cylinder motors running, guess I am used to hearing the V-8 rumble.

  18. For those who have been PM'ing me, I will pass along your questions to the owner, I doubt he is selling any of it. I have tried.

And this place is no where near West Voorhesville.

Thanks for sharing your find with us. That's amazing. I can't imagine the excitement of being there and seeing it all firsthand.

  25. Neat find. The fire truck has a logo on the grill shell, though it is hard to read. I really like that 32 truck.

Cool, call us when there is another tour.

  26. amazing stash indeed.
Good find, thanks for taking us along and sharing

Very cool. These guys obviously know they have something, so I'm sure we don't have to worry about them getting scrapped. And while the cow shit probably isn't good for it, I doubt any of that stuff is going to return to the ground any time soon.

Good to know that this stuff is still being stashed away for the future. I pretty much guarantee that all of this shit would have been crushed and recycled years ago if this guy hadn't stashed it.

Great pictures and great story, this is the kind of stuff I read the HAMB for.

Unbelievable! I love this Barn find stuff. I can't believe all the old Fords in there. Guy could sell everything in the garage and live lovely. I almost had a stroke when I saw that Pontiac. GTO or LeMans?

I live in Syracuse. Need any help pulling anything out, let me know. I could be there in 2-3 hours. haha
