This is great stuff and it is rotting away, not just from rust but acid in cow ****. If it was not for hoarders storing stuff nothing would be around now but he should at least store it properly. He needs to get his mind right and sell it before it's gone in the ground.

GTO would have a hood scoop and parking lights in the grille. But really, any A-body convertible is a good find.

    What?

  10. How come the 1928 model A still has a NY '28 license plate and the 1931 A sports coupe still has a '31 license plate ? I thought plates were renewed or tagged every year.

  11. 34 GAZ,
You are correct in that everyday cars have plates issued yearly. But cars of historic nature can be registered as historic and run YOM (Year Of Make) plates. This saves a large sum in registeration an insurance fees.

  12. New York stopped doing annual plates in '65 and stopped doing stickers on the plates in '72 or '73 and has changed plate designs only about 4 times since; they've even made registrations biannual now - all that changes yearly is an inspection sticker on your windshield. The way things are going I'm somehow going to manage to skip a year on the beater.
