With my truck being in the shop having the windshield replaced I drove the highboy sedan to the shop yesterday and Brenda ask me to take a dozen roses to a address on the west side of town and the delivery van was going in a different direction.

Veda was at the shop and jumped at the chance to take her first ride in this car,she had a big grin on her face. HRP

My 11 year old Granddaughter rode with me in my 40 last fall on a 300 mile trip. She loved it, ready to go again.

My youngest grandson Wyatt, ink still wet on his license, got to drive Pop's hotrod recently with me riding shotgun. I find I am mellow at the 3/4 century mark and his mother says he had a grin for a day afterwards! And yes, he is 6'1 1/2" at 16.

Great photo, HRP. Grand kids are the best - spoil the heck out of 'em and send them home.

Just found out I'm going going to be a great grandfather, so next year I'll have a whole new generation to spoil !

  9. Great picture HRP. I've said it before and I'll say it again. If life has taught me anything it's that family is number one (after the lord that is)

Great looking lad there, I'm to be 75 this October; 2 grandsons aged 18 (Jake) and 16 (Ian) are both roadster drivers now, Jake is 6'3 (!) Ian's 6'0.
(er, that would be their Dad's '27 Track roadster 'Nose-Job'
Grandpa's rods are all apart at this particular time. But I know where all the parts are, and what needs to be done. :D

DRAT! Even my F100 is jacked up on stands, P/S box install, shift shaft seal, and front brakes/wheel cyls!
So, they can just drive my son's stuff! (for now) I've never been this 'car poor'!

Grandkids love my old hotrod too. James and I had gone out and picked up our Christmas tree, it was a nice cold 30 degree day. We had a great time.

Both my granddaughter and grandson love going for a ride in my 33. I take them to cruise nights or just a ride to get an ice cream. They really like it when I show up at day care in it to pick them up! All their little friends are at the fence watching them drive away  DSC09677.JPG Cam Christmas 2015.jpg

My 16 yr.old granddaughter told me she remembers me picking her,up 8-9 years ago at school with my mufflers broken. Had the plugs open. Said her friends liked it.

My wife and I recently took the gran-youngins to a local cruise-in. Within eyesight of the destination I realized that a rear tire was going down. Upon arrival, (and about a dozen cat calls of "tires flat") limped to the back row.
Mama took the grans for ice cream while I changed the tire.....Ahhhhhh the memories.

Little Henry is three end of the month, as you can see he is ready to rumble on down the road in the COE.

That would have been a good pic Danny if you hadn't let that gray beard fellow get in your car!:D

Grandkids are nice, I only have the one GS, and he lives with us. He loves riding in the Lincoln, "Paw Paw's hot rod", and the wife's 88 Firebird Formula, "Maw maw's hot rod". He's 4.5 years old, and loves to get into the vehicles and "drive". He recently found out he can climb up on the steps of the Freightliner, pop the door open if it's not locked, and jump in and grab the air horn lanyard and blow the horn. He'll probably end up being a truck drivin' hot rodder like his Paw Paw!
