That's a stunning profile! Some cars just beg you to hop in and drive and thats one for me.
Surely one of the nicest Fraser Nash's.
I note they used meadows and anzani motors - do you know what the configuration of the anzani motor was - I always associate them with aero engines.

The Anzani was a 1496cc OHV inline four, quite thoroughly conventional. In addition to that and the Meadows there were also Gough fours and little Blackburne sixes. I believe a few of the very last proper FNs had BMW sixes.

There doesn't seem to be much info on the Anzani conventional motor (on the interweb at least). I note that Morgan used Anzani V twins for a while.

It is amazing the amount of money they get for those tiny economy cars and parts, isn't it?

This is the missing rhs view of the gb gush cyclecar that held many records for under 350 cc cars in the 20,s and 30,s a couple of the records still stand Inc 12 and 24 hour

The 24 hour record is at half the speed of the 12 hour record , they ran for 12 hours and came back after a night of sleep then put in a claim the next morning for 24 hours ,

This car was the nemesis to the jappic cyclecar which I am currently recreating

I find enough on the side-valve version of that engine, as fitted to Marendaz Specials for instance, and on the OHC version, as fitted to Squires, but little on the pushrod version.

The Parker GN is a special with a history going right back to the 20's. In that time it's been reborn in many different guises. The current one is largely Mark Walker's (200hp Darracq) work. It features a Cirrus aero engine (the sort of thing you might get in a Gypsy Moth) and he used it to set a lot of class records at many hill-climbs - often setting better times than the modern cars!

There was a great turn out of Frazer-Nashes - many prepared by Patrick Blakeney-Edwards. He's pretty handy in the no.27 car - often winning at the Goodwood Revival. I started my car sketching adventures in his brother, Simon's garage (also a FN specialist) which is less than a mile from me. He very kindly let me sit in a corner and sketch all the wonderful machinery a few years back...

Back to Cadwell. I rather liked the installation of the engine in this one...

It was also the first circuit race for the fabric-bodied RIP Special...

... and I had the drive of a lifetime - a long (and spirited!) road trip in a Type 35T Bugatti which was entered in three of the races...

There's an amusement park near Pomona CA with gokarts on a "greased" track.
That first picture reminded me of it.

Might take a look at a vintage mail jeep.
I think they were derived from Austins when Jeep first started making them during the war.
Plus, if you are building a two-seater, they are RHD.
Would take a lot of cutting to trim one down though.
Otherwise, I would think of using a Triumph Spitfire chassis. Nice and small and if you can find one with knock-off wire wheels you can keep the vintage feel. I have one which I dream someday of building a Bugatti T23 Tank on. They're cheap still too!
