Mike - I think Bob is right on this. There are plenty of folks, myself included, who are intrigued by your build. You and I have traded some correspondence on your build and I have a non-traditional reverse trike in my head I'd like to build if my life ever settles down again.

I will tell you that this is one of the only threads I always read every day (or every log-on). As a moderator, I see a lot of the discussions regarding the disposition of various threads and Bob's correct that this one has never come up. I think it's on the fringe of what this board is about, but it fits this sub-forum very well and is one of the more active threads - all good things.

Bob, Ernie -- I apologize for the way in which I expressed my impression of this thread as it pertains to modern one-off builds. Indeed, they have been presented here and received general acceptance; they tend not to endure very well, however, and this is probably due more to the nature of most builds -- protracted and often done in fits and starts as time and dollar budgets allow. My own "build" could be the poster-car for this condition.

This is one of two or three subscribed HAMB threads -- and my odds-on favorite -- that's read every day, as it has been almost from its beginning. I've found inspiration, insights, and ideas that will be valuable in my project. I'm inching ever closer to a start date for mockup of my RT -- just as soon as there's a vacant table in the shop -- and have looked forward to sharing the build here, on the HAMB, on this thread ever since "Let's Talk Cyclecars" appeared as a thread topic.

This thread is the reason I joined HAMB, again. There are other threads I read and enjoy, but this is the main reason. I am building a non-traditional, non HAMB friendly reverse trike but the next RT should fit in. Keep the pictures coming, they are awesome.

Stretchmobile, it appears a Moto Guzzi was injured in the building of the one on the right? Good choice.

  11. Both cars use Citroen transmissions and front suspension.

    Nice builds by the way.

These aren't my trikes. They are from another forum, but they are beautiful and I wish my work was up to this standard. Here is a link to the build blog: http://peters-pembletons.blogspot.com/ Enjoy it!

    Introduction

I discovered this forum a week or so ago and have been lurking here since reading the posts from the beginning. I'm building a JZR 3 wheeler with Guzzi engine. Got it running this summer and now I'm starting the body/interior work. Great fun.

While this one is finishing up I'm thinking about the next project. Cycle car, Model A, MG TD, Model T speedster??!!

Here's one I found on the internets. It's called a hill climber which seems to be a cyclecar with numbers painted on the side. I like the simple style which I'm trying to incorporate into my project.

What a beautiful building. I wonder if it's still standing. Not much slope on the roof.
