The BSA 3w were quite advanced for their time. They had 3 speed plus reverse, electric start, front wheel drive, fully covered cockpit, 3 wheel brakes. During their production period they out sold Morgan's by 4 to 1.
This is the one I missed at auction. The 4 cyl. ones had a radiator cap; the 2 cyl. air cooled had hood ornament and the louvers were a bolt on part.

    Hello to all,
After photos of magnificent kids (body-builders on steroids) of beloved cycle-cars, a few photos with one of the cycle-car's grandpas:
American Browniekar from the first decade of XX century! (not Brownie Car, as sometimes called)...
In spite that it is advertised as "juvenile car" (for responsible kids and teenagers - if that isn't oxymoron), it could be used by two adults, probably not of XXXL size. On one photo is young Baster Keaton with his friend...
    Ciao, Zoran

... when it is radial engine, why not be rotary radial engine?
Otherwise, quite ordinary automobile for that period - Adams-Farwell from 1906, see the video-clip:

    And, some photos...

That's a beautiful motor - Just wondering how those fans are operated - Are they belt pulleys on the outer side of the fans.

The Lafitte radial was an interesting engine. It was a version of the friction drive. The speed was altered by changing the tilt of the engine so a different radius of the the flywheel engaged the output.
