Love this pic . and esp love the deusy flex pipes on early Morgans - see Bobs #7932. Think I might put a few on my T.

some say Sellers finest work but I never quite got 'The Party' and am constantly ridiculed for not seeing the brilliance - guess I was a Goon Show purist. I prefer the more structured angst of Faulty Towers. Forgot about the Morgan's staring role though.

Bob,that is all I got! It looks like a kodacolor print from the 60s.I sure like the gimbeld light on the dash and the
other treasures mounted on this vehicle.

Bob and Bob isn't that light acetylene? Looks almost like the light for my DB truck. I think the generator is hanging on the right side dash.

Stumbled across the 1922 Eric Longden while researching an old wolseley gearbox I was wondering what to do with. It may have appeared on this thread before. Interesting history on web page below plus many other great pics and links - I got lost in there for a few hours .

The second pic from the same site is an ABC - a make I rambled on about a few months back after seeing one in a museum in Hamilton NZ- nice to see one in racing trim

    Fred,
In Shorpy's archive, it was titled as <<Washington, D.C., 1920. "Donnie Moore in Duesenberg.">>, from National Photo Company Collection glass negative, Library of Congress.
For me, a few things were interesting:

    • the first size of car and driver (auto was quite big or driver quite small)
    • and buildings in background (looked quite modern, especially one tall behind)...
In any way, photo is rare and full of period atmosphere!
