    Hello there,
I just found nice forum with a lot of photos with ultra-light and ultra-simple British specials from before the Second World War. It seems that they were raced over grass-tracks and sometimes on macadam hill-climbs. At the same tracks were raced "normal" specials and quite big sport cars..

For the first time, I saw such specials and such races!
    More about that later...

    Ciao,

Hey Stewart--I looked at most of the stuff on Odgies website, and ALL of it is pretty neat. I liked the bikes as well, and the coverage of the Hot Rod Races somewhere in the Midlands is too much.
Following your build as well. Seems that all that exposure to Beach Racing when I was a kid is tough to get out of the system......:D:rolleyes:

...like "ambulance" or "fire brigade" written backwards?
But, such Morgan should aproach them so fast that they couldn't read the so small letters! ... and, probably that everybody could recognised such unforgetable desing?

The same with "ambulance" or "fire brigade" - if somebody couldn't recognis such cars/trucks wiht flassing lights, syrens and various brigth colours - no use of reading!

    Hello,
Maybe after-WW2 DIY micro-car, or old cyclecar?
For me - it is cute.

    Ciao,

Interesting front-drive Polish racer, probably motorcycle-engined:

    Hello Brent,
Interesting find that lead me to some other Polish specials from early fifties... About shown special, I couldn't find any facts, but here is one bigger photo with chassis and tubular-cage frame for body. Pity that there engine isn't shown! Base chassis looks as some kind of DKW, with independent front suspension and front-wheel drive, with strange rear suspension.
Maybe power was of some East German variant of DKW two-cylinder engine, similar as for two-stroke motorcycles? Or older Czech JAWA two-cylinder, two-stroke of 600-800 cc...

Maybe to post shown photos and a few other with Polish specials in thread:

if they could be interested there?

    Ciao,
    Zoran
