    It is perhaps surprising that more schmitt bodies didn't end up this way. Excellent single seat capsule.

    And it was an early ('55-'56) deluxe model. To bad, those are the most desirable bubble top years. But who would have guessed they would be valuable some day?

    As in "live wire". A common expression of the time. It meant they wanted energetic agents who would hustle for business.

    American actor James Hall pictured in a Citroen 5cv shortly after signing with Paramount in 1929. Interestingly, the Citroen 5cv went out of production in 1926. The maker of the 'canework' body is unknown.
