Cool to see this thread still alive. Here is mine. Built from scratch.

 

What kind of spindles and hubs did you use?

 

Made my own with a thick wall DOM tube. Tested on the table to get full articulation without bump steer. Heim joints for adjustability. Made DOM A-arms with sheet metal top to make it look tidy.

Thanks Rod! I live in Fairbanks, the interior. The storms and subsequent damage are on the west coast...about 525 miles from here. We did get some rain, but not much.

I'm always amazed at the number of Amilcars that made their way to OZ. I'm even further amazed at the number that survive today.

 

I think you would know a lot more about that than I do, but Oz must have been a significant market for many kinds of European and American cars in the early decades of motoring. (I had never heard of Massola until I found that photo today and the most I know about Amilcar is probably from this thread.)

Edit: I just searched 'Amilcar' and I see there's a 'bookofface' page for Amilcars in Oz; I must have a good look at it .............
