Made my own with a thick wall DOM tube. Tested on the table to get full articulation without bump steer. Heim joints for adjustability. Made DOM A-arms with sheet metal top to make it look tidy. IMG_4602.JPG IMG_4500.JPG IMG_4514.JPG IMG_4557.JPG

Thanks Rod! I live in Fairbanks, the interior. The storms and subsequent damage are on the west coast...about 525 miles from here. We did get some rain, but not much.

'Amilcar convertible car, with driver Carlo Massola; Carlo Massola was an international racing driver and owner of garages in Melbourne and Bendigo. I'm always amazed at the number of Amilcars that made their way to OZ. I'm even further amazed at the number that survive today.

I think you would know a lot more about that than I do, but Oz must have been a significant market for many kinds of European and American cars in the early decades of motoring. (I had never heard of Massola until I found that photo today and the most I know about Amilcar is probably from this thread.)

Edit: I just searched 'Amilcar' and I see there's a 'bookofface' page for Amilcars in Oz; I must have a good look at it .............

Found a seat today, I'm older and wiser, not going to claim it is the start of another project. Bob
