Looks like a good project seed anyway. Perhaps a nice single cylinder, single seat speedster with wood frame rails.

I think those are about the smallest SUs I've ever seen.

SUs go down to 1". Small enough to get your thumb stuck in. The OHC four cylinder MGs were all under a litre.

This is a very good project, it was under going a restoration approximately 15 years ago, but unfortunately the owner passed away before it was finished. The engine and gearbox are free, the car is rolling and steers, the body and chassis have all been worked on and appears to be in good shape. The engine is a 1000cc Side Valve air cooled MX Matchless, with a 3 speed and reverse gearbox. As can be seen from the pictures, it has suffered from damp and clearly the wiring loom was the next job. Offers on £20,000. Hello, Fred!
A magnificent project you finished! I wish you to enjoy all of your Morgans!
Is this one the last Morgan model produced as three-wheelers?
In your blog, you covered the entire project in great detail.

Do you have somewhere your blog about your steam locomotives? Everything powered by steam is my old dream, and some dozen years ago almost realised it as a prospective business.
    --- ---
Here in Bern, I saw two three-wheeler Morgans: one classic made between the wars and one modern. Pitty that I couldn't catch any of them - too fast in city traffic for me (almost full 72 years old) and my humble Citroen C-1 (almost 14 years old)...
The same happened when I saw Czechoslovakian three-wheeler Velorex. Quite a modest vehicle, but very fast for its age and size...

    Regards, Zoran

Yes, Those are both the same car but different owners. I liked that paint job so much that I copied it. That car is the very last one made; mine is 4 cars earlier.
I do like to make the blogs as they help me remember what I did as well as assisting others doing a restoration. I never did one on my 8 steam engines but there are some videos on my utube channel: "fredvv44". Then click "videos" just under the title line. I did make this blog on the JZR build: https://jzrusa2.blogspot.com/

Early 2021 I went to a farm property to look at a Ford Prefect ute and the Austin was there, also a couple of Chev utes and an old caravan with stained glass windows; the property was being cleared; I didn't buy anything. 039.JPG

The utes must have been pretty rough then....if you didn't buy anything.

The concertina features strongly in Boeremusiek, a local traditional form.

    Profuse apologies.

The Prefect ute was a 1946 to 1948 model (A53A), not an easy-to-find model. The A pillars had been cut through about half way up the height of the windscreen - very neatly [a hacksaw?] I have to say, so the roof and the tub (back) of the ute had been removed in one piece. This must have been done decades ago so that someone young, I imagine, could fang around the farm in an 'open' vehicle.
I was hoping that the chassis might be in good condition but anything that old used on a farm or dirt roads gets dirt/mud building up in the chassis, which causes rust. The property owner was in aged care or hospital and the property was being cleared. The people doing the sale wanted too much for the ute for what it was, I have lack of space and I would have had to persuade someone to help me bring it back. I will post some pics of the ute on the 'sitting/rotting' thread soon-ish. (They are up there now ... I am using up some of my best material very quickly ... the brightest stars burn out the quickest ... )

BSA, in its time period, outsold Morgan 4 to 1. They were great at Trials events with FWD and usually beat Morgans. They have never had the popularity or sale price that Morgan has.

There's been a thread about this one. I believe it is currently in the UK?
