Paul, thanks for sharing the video on the 1919 Grafton. That looks like fun to me.

The Grafton was great. He did a wonderful job building it.

I hope you are referring to Tim Gunn (the original builder) as opposed to the chap in the video posted earlier (the new owner) :)

I'll get some pictures of the car Sunday. It's asleep at the Fountainhead Antique Auto Museum in Fairbanks, Alaska. https://www.fountainheadmuseum.com/ Currently ,there isn't an engine in the car. Someday it will move under it's own power again.

Yes, I was. I didn't make that clear in my post. The car seems to be in good hands now.

The Mocron is a neat car but the guy is awful. He just runs his mouth all the way through. You never get to hear the car.

I agree, and all he does is condemn the car.

IMG_1695.JPG IMG_1697.JPG This is the Bobby Sheldon car at the Fountainhead antique Auto Museum in Fairbanks, Alaska.https://www.fountainheadmuseum.com/ . It was donated to the University of Alaska eons ago. The Fountainhead was able to display it on loan .As you can see it is a pretty simple rig. Firehose for the rear tires. The single cylinder marine engine in the foreground will be rebuilt. It will be installed in this car or a replica will be built. IMG_1692.JPG

To anyone traveling to Alaska do not miss the Fountainhead Museum. It is a great place, one of my favorite car museums. Most of the cars are displayed with period clothing on manequins? My wife still talks about being there. And they have some pretty good tour guides!!
