    Environmental issues are real but the mainstream response has been steered to a paradigm which serves to increase the prevailing capital investment threshold in manufacturing — even to the point of failing to address the environmental issues. Just about everything on this thread is 180° contrary to that paradigm, and therefore has to be outlawed.

    20bhp single, probably around 200-250cc, with boring CVT.

    The corporate agenda drives the politics, not the other way round. Our kind of cars are dead because they aren't what the industry wants made. They are a threat to the desired radical monopoly.

    That was an interesting read. It has long been recognized that Detroit sells us what it wants to make not what we want to buy. The import market made that point quite clear.
