Well, as I didn't have pedal-car in my childhood, I would like to have one now! This one would be good: nice-done carrosserie, nice colour-scheme, nice details... And, interesting front suspension/steering unit with unusual but attractive fenders!
Would ne enough for me, even with pedal-power, but small electric-motor assistance would be helpful...

    Thank you, Nobo!
Well, I would like to have one, but...
But, for 18.000 euros - I could by some old-timer automobile, or classic motorcycle with side car - and, for the rest of money: build one light, simple and cheap pedal-power kart for over-grown kids as I am: 74 years, 100 kgs, 188 cm...
For half of that money I could even buy used ultralight aeroplane, or classic wooden boat long around 6-8 meters, with old diesel engine, or…
But, I do not have such money, so I still have a plan to built light quadricycle for me! I built one but I am not satisfied. Bern is mostly a flat town, I could avoid a few steeper streets, asphalt is good, bicycle paths are everywhere, even in the centre of the city, there are a lot of areas with speed limits up to 20-30 km/hour, traffic lights are arranged for bicycles, drivers are gently to bicycle's rider, for scooters and mopeds also...

My phone takes lousy pictures so I didn't take any. But on Friday last week at Hershey car show there was a 1898 Beeston quadricycle. Maybe some took a picture of it. It started with a tri cycle frame and had a tiny engine. The owner, in broken English, said it had a glow plug and no carb. Somehow it mixed gas vapor and air together in the gas tank and piped it to the engine. Anyone heard of this? Or did I understand correctly?

    Hello, Nobo!
At the end of the XIX century, some gasoline engines had such system: vacuum was pulling air in a gasoline tank, making bubbles and gasoline vapour over it... Then such mixture was pulled in carburettor, well, maybe directly to cylinder. Such reservoir was a carburettor!
Some photos and a video on this web-page:
    https://www.fawcettmotors.com/1898-beeston-quadricycle/
    … and, on German Wikipedia:
    https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beeston_(Fahrzeugmarke)
The Benz Patent-Wagen from the same period had such system, but wasn't alone... About Karl Benz reservoir/carburettor system:

    Fred,
For many years, I was camping with small FIAT 600d (made by licence in Serbia as Zastava 750) and TRABANT 601, both in category under one litre of capacity... Of course, pulling camping trailer and sometimes having plastic or pneumatic boat on top of car (nice as sunny protection during voyages). Packaging a lot of various objects in small space I learned in Army...
Not look-a-like as cyclecars, but in their times that was ultralight autos, indeed!
Fiat was better for pulling, even in the second gear over Bosnian mountains, and good for engine braking downhills... Just put gearbox in the second gear. Trabant must be used in the first gear over hills (low middle range torque) but even worse - couldn't brake with engine, being two-stroke. Must use hand-brake too, going downhills, because of over-heating of the front brakes...
Once I was driving 18 hours from Belgrade to the Adriatic Sea Coast - for 770 km!
    But, I was young then!
Off topic, but probably cyclcartistes had similar problems with their ultralight automobiles, if used for "serious" adventures?

    Ciao, Zoran

    Bugatti for sure!
If I am correct, it is not a Type 37 but a Type 30 (you will have to sell a huge number of newspapers to buy one now!)
