OUR new project, after the kids saw this thread they decided they wanted to build a cyclecar. We have a body design as well, but decided we want to drive soon, so we took a shortcut and bought a cheap t-bucket body. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=679980

Bob, all restorations as far a i know, thats all he does, the Ash frame is new, one day I will get chance to have a long chat with him K
Bedilia At Jerry Shermans, right after he bought it. Probably burnt in barn fire. MAG V twin engine Jerry wanted me to get this death trap into condition to race (!) but I declined, as I didn't want my name ***ociated with his demise. Herb
More of Sherman's stuff--this one the BNC--definitely melted to s**** in the barn fire started by local ******s. At Reading hillclimb, in the rain Jerry in the driving seat. Compare the esthetics of the BNC with the background POS. Herb
Herb,THANKS for the BNC pics! Do you know any of the engine details?Do they still run the hillclimb in Reading? bob
Bob- I know that the engine had a blower--crank driven-- and i THINK that it was a Ruby. Jerry said that the body was built in France, after WW2. So far as I know the hill climb is long gone, but I don't travel in the circles that would participate, since JS p***ed away. Herb
No Achille, afraid not. Definitely the BNC was destroyed when some local teenage darlings set fire to Jerry's barn. Anything aluminum was melted, and any steel parts so badly warped that they were barely recognizable. Car people helping with the cleanup all agreed that there was no hope of rebuilding. I'm pretty sure that the Bedilia was destroyed in the fire also--along with some Hispano parts and WW1 aircraft engines. Herb
^^^ one of them world famous, two seat sidewalk racers? Acutally, I do like the tandem seat deal, like a 2 seat sprint car I once got a ride in. Like a BSA on 4 wheels. Gary
