    Hello guys,
Trying to level my motor in the frame. I have k member in stock position. K member front vertical wall relation to the top of the frame -90 degrees.
Now I have front mounts (water pump style) below the frame surface.I have already seen some posts and most have them over the frame but it means that angle of K member will change.
I hope I wrote clear enough

Using something on the top of your engine parallel to the centerline of the engine, carburetor flange on the manifold, block to manifold mounting surface, what angle is your engine sitting at in relation to the pinion centerline of the rear end? That's really going to be the determining factor as to where your motor mounts are going to go. That's some pretty work in your pictures. Just hope your transmission mount isn't going to be bound up trying to get those angles right.

Manifold sufrace 0 deg. Unfortunately I don't have the rear end yet (it will be stock banjo with torque tube)
Front wishbones splited and attached to the sides of the frame rails. Car will be lowered with maybe the need of C notch.
K member ist not permanently fixed yet so no worries about transmission mount.
Everything pretty loose so far and can be adjusted. Not so much space to play with difetent angles with K member. What should be stock configuration (stock motor high) ?

    Thanks for kind words.

Mine have the bottom of the leg even with the top of the rail. But, mine are a skosh higher than original so I could fit a tach drive off the front of the crank, and still clear the spring clamp. Maybe 1/4” at most. I didn’t modify the K member at all.

I'm planning to use tach drive too but I have enough space in front of the engine so I don't need lift it up. Just don't want make any stress on transmission mount.
If lower will be as stock it's fine
I think I've found the answer for my question ( picture)

I would not mount your motor until you have the rear end in place and can mount all four tires and see how it actually sits. Calculating doesn't always prove out with what the finished stance ends up being.
I would also think about how high or how low looks right. By that I mean how high you place the engine in the engine compartment. Higher gives more room for exhaust placement and a few other things, but may require modifying the floorboard. Personally I do not care for engines that sit too low and have a large amount of firewall above them......makes the engine look puny to me.........but others apparently like that look. So its not just about being level, but how high or low looks right to you.

Here are a few pictures to see what I mean. I don't know if you want over the frame headers or not but if not, you can see how placement height affects the final look of the vehicle. Might be worth thinking about.

I'm dependent from K Member position and can't change much how low and how hight I can move the engine. I will also run Frenzel supercharger and need space under hood. I think it must be in stock position as shown in my last post.

The best way to find the right stock engine height on a 32 is to look through the spring clamp hole. It should line up perfectly with the crank because it guides the hand crank.
