I really liked the lightning bolts on the old old HAMB. Even if we couldn't instant message using them, like before, it would be cool to see who is online while you're in the thread, instead of going to "who's online" to check. Is there a way to have both?

Does anybody else remember the lightning bolts? Did you use them? The instant message function was cool.

Buzzard, if you put your buddies in your address book then when you hit the "My Home", the ones that are online show up as such.

From there if you hit on the persons user name that will bring you to their profile where from there you can send them a PM. They will then get a very noticable flashing envelope at the top next to the "main index" icon. Not as convinant as an IM but almost as good.

Another option, if you really wanted to have a fast paced chat with someone, you could always head to the chat room that Zeke set up for HAMB members.

All good options. But what I was referring to way a "button" where the reply, edit, delete buttons are that lit up yellow when that person was online. Do you remember the red X that was in that bar before? That's where the lightning bolt was.

Not a big concern as there are other ways to get the same info., but it's a feature that I liked. Thank you Denise, for responding with your help.

I liked the yellow lightening bolt. You knew if the person was still online when you were posting.

Sounds like it was a cool option and one that I would use on a regular basis. Oh well, maybe one of these days when things settle down, Ryan might consider bringing it back, it's it's available.
