to add to the mix - I had a TIA stroke several years ago and lost almost the entire sense of taste, and my tongue is always on fire like when you have had a sip of a very hot cup of coffee, cocoa, etc

 

Turns out that's about all I can do, it's cold, raining and the power has been out almost all day.

 

Honestly, I really like cheap beer, and I actually dislike "good" beer. At least the ones I've sampled. But I talk about beer more that I drink it anymore.

 

Wow, that's unfortunate. On the bright side, you could probably win a salsa eating contest.

I know what you mean...I don't drink anymore by choice since 1980, and people always have to make a comment to me about it. "You don't know what you're missing out on" or "What do you do for fun, then?"

I love beer but I don't like the buzz and I refuse to be drunk to please anyone and I don't care that others drink. It doesn't bother me in the least. Give me a Diet Coke and I'm happy...

 

I enjoy my beers and highly respect my friends that have never drank or in recovery

I am that way with wine. I like the cheap fresh stuff over what others think is good. I seldom drink it because it gives me an immediate headache but the cheapo stuff is better in my opinion.
I know this is the "beer thread" but your comment reminded me about cheap alcoholic drinks..

 

I will go the opposite direction! I would prefer the Ha-Ha Emoji!

There is a guy on here that the cartoon "Born Loser" was patterned after & I laugh my @ss off every time he reports the stupid things he does or that happens to him. I never really gave Karma much of a thought until the last 5-6 years, but because of his actions, he deserves everything that happens to him! Will I go to Hell for laughing?

I like the feature it can be one of a few things...Approval, Acknowledgement that you Have Read the Post and Either Agree or Disagree...

I see Members and Friends of Hambers or Greats in the Hobby Head to Whatever Peaceful Sky it might be and support the thoughts as a Group in Memorial Remembrance...My Like is a way of collectively supporting positivity. Positive thoughts, what we in these many times of remembrance or support in illness or accident do...are many times liked by myself...Your Heartfelt Voice Matters...

To me it's the least I can do in light of the many efforts Hambers make to share and spread the Hamb message of Vintage Hotrod/Custom...

I many Times feel a Like is not adequate as the thing I'm Liking is overwhelmingly worth more and I comment and commend further...to heck with clogging...Hambers so much of what you do is truly amazing and those old historic pics with Hotrod/Custom in your collections way cool beyond likes...
