lil' john, So nice to hear that you are recovering well. I have always admired your work & attention to detail. You are an Icon. Best wishes to you. Brad
Hey Lil John - Whew! We've never met, but your experience inspired me to get checked out. Everything looks okay and now I have peace of mind - thanks, in part, to you. Meanwhile, the inspiration, education and entertainment you first laid on me years ago (looking at your work in the magazines) is still working, too... Thanks, Scotty (Jangleguy) Gosson
SO glad to see that you're out of the woods and back home where ya belong! It was a BIG relief to hear you sounding more like your old self the other day...keep on kicking *** for a real long time, Bro...I can't wait to see the A-bone you and Chris are building!!! (The 69 Camaro and 65 Nova "NoVette" were incredible...so I know this latest joint effort will rule as well!!) Always, -Greg
I am the newbie here and my name is Fred Vierheller. On May 25th at noon George Bradley and I went to visit little John at his home. We felt how excited he is with his next hot rod project, the one he described as being My Masterpiece he is building for his son Chris and is penned by Chip Foose. If anybody wants to know how he is doing I can tell you guys he is designing on his CAD and cutting chips on his CNC, and as we speak the first component of his Masterpiece has been machined.
Great news L.il,your skill is well renowned;English section.Lets see your next master creation, wish I had a tenth of your skill!!
Lil'John, think I still have the Revell model of your Model T, in my Mom's attic. Those chromed Jag rear-ends where the **** back then! Not so easy to ***emble with tweasers. Was introduced to you via Revell and Hot-Rod, circa 1975? Loved the Nova project, was WAY ahead of it's time, may have been the 1st Pro Touring car ever built. Just found out about this post, glad to hear you are doing well. JT
run that by me L'il or as Big Dad says "sir."I like that its respect!hope your getting your strength back and on way to full recovery.A legend in your own underpants and gifted machinist/hotrodder.--------------bon chance.
That letter was some REAL GOOD NEWS. Im printing that ****er & putting it up on the shop wall. Might just help ( keeping things in proper perspective - ya know )...!
So we do again as we do well here. Greatest thoughts and prayers towards the coast. It has been a while on my end since seeing lil in Pomona for but not too long to not care or say a few good things to the big man for the lil man. Good luck as I know you will never quit. 'GoodHelp'
Thoughts and prayers are with you(weather you want them or not). You've got lots more cars to build. Brett
Hopes for a quick and painless recovery (I know it won't be, but the faster and more pain free the better).
Hope you have a speedy recovery. Good to see you have some really close friends that are there for you no matter what. That is very hard to find... Mike
