I posted this on the old Hamb but I will give the new guys a taste.

If you want mufflers on your ride, but don't have the space for exhaust and you are running the cone type headers, rest easy.

Go to your local VW shop and buy a set of baffles designed for the "stinger" baja tubes. They just drop in, you drill one hole in the bottom, install a number 10 stainless screw and nut and you are done. I would almost bet that the people that build the cones for the Speedway kits are the same people building the baja tubes. They run around 10-15 dollars for a pair. I used to have pics but I thing they went qaway on the old board.

A few of the guys on the board have tried it and like em.
    Hope this helps.

My local VW shop? I think I saw a couple of junk bugs in a guys yard a few months ago, but we sure don't have many VW'ers in my neck of the country. Is there a mail order place that any of you ex (or closet) VW freaks know about that has these? Thanks.

I would like to know a source as well. I have "Limefire" pipes that I want to run, but don't want a full exhaust. No V-Dub shops around here..

    Yep that looks like em.
Hey, I think the ones I bought were called Bugpack?

The name of the dealer here in town is Bethany Imports, in Oklahoma City. They have several different sizes. They'll measure em for ya. Sedan Dad bought a set from em. Maybe he has the part number.

    More places to check:
    Bugpack
    CB Performance
    JC Whitney

If all else fails, next time your at Walmart, pick up a Hot VW's or VW Trends and write down some of the advertisers websites.
