Event Coverage Limeworks Open House{pre Lars event}.......Pics

32gal and I hopped in my coupe today and headed over to Limeworks to take advatage of their hospitality. It was a good turn out of folks from all over the country. Steve and the gang put on a nice BBQ of burgers ,beans,potatoe salad,and soft drinks. It was a great way to spend the day and meet some new folks!

to bad it was a very relaxing, low-key deal ! I met quite a few folks from back east and down south. the 32 roadster that Megan drove out in from ohio is flatty powered and has quite a story that goes with it.it still has Calif plates on it from 1956

 

Yeah, I was eyeballing that one, I'll try to see it up close this weekend.....maybe do a Pinhole shot of it .....very cool

I got to the party late as I was finishing up a car to drag out to LARS, but it is always great to hang and chat with the lads.

A big thanks to Steve, Carol, Craig, Andrew, Kerry and any others I may have missed - not to forget Kona - guardian of the peace and rapidly becoming top dog on the HAMB!

 

Another cooler-than-hell "Lil Show" has taken place. I am a big fan of these type super fun events. 32 gal and chevy girl Rox look cool all the time, without trying, always a treat to see our spectacular H.A.M.B. ladies. That light fixture, ala sprint car body is total, BAD ASS!! The rides there were stunning, that sweet red 46 Ford tu-door made me miss one I had years ago. The shot of Kona rules!! Thanx for the xlnt coverage. Would a couple hundy and I pay the freight get that retired Limeworks sign outa there? Hope you all enjoy the "big shoe" LARS!! Aye Carimba!! ~Sololobo~
