One told me Lincoln made flathead V8 1941 as the special deal was the 90 degree that came out of cranks main centre, not moved out as the Ford V8 flatheads.
Called ’tall deck’ or tall block.
So whats the story here ?

-The block ( Lincoln or not ) was in front of me but I could not say if the flat surface where intake goes at was taller than a Ford V8.

When I now searched all Lincoln 41 had a V12, but it was a huge V8 later 40’s but 850 LBS...

This must be a Mercury 1941 block as it did look like a 59AB.

Did look like a 59B as a it was several 59 BA beside.
    Same waterpumps.
Deal was ’it was’ a Lincoln 1941 and V from centre of main.

If it’s the same size outside as a Ford or Merc, it’s not a Lincoln.

Count the head bolts/nuts on one head.

    17 - V8/60
21 or 24 - Plain old Ford or Mercury
27 - Lincoln or Ford truck

    Ok, Thanks.
That has the Tatterfield heads 24 bolts and 4 inline carbs.
So Ford or Mery, but if a Lincoln it did sounds cool.
