has anyone ran the 337 lincoln headers from reds headers? do they add any power? ,as they are not equal length. they make a nice set of equal length for big trucks ,but they are probably too long for car applications.

Engines with siamese exhaust ports. Such as the Lincoln, are said not to benefit from equal length headers as it is impossible to tune the center two cylinders.

I ran a 337 for several years, and I don't think (as Rich said) it's a worthwhile uptick.

Listen to Rich, he is wise.

Also, For the most part with Ford and Lincoln Flatheads, the primary exhaust restriction is already cast into the block, so adding free flowing headers down stream of the primary blockage doesn't offer much advantage.

This is definitely not designed for performance (I know this is a standard Ford Flathead, but the 337 is very similar.)

i see your point ,but why then would people run headers on flatheads? i have two more cars with flatheads in them and i run headers ,but i have not ran them with manifolds ,so i wouldn't know the difference.
also, did the MUNTZ JET run dual exhaust?
