    Hello,

I´ve got a question about the color of the 56/57 Premiers. The exterior of my Lincoln was (presidential) black, the interior was huntsman red and black. After removing the fuel tank I saw that the under-floor was painted in green. The firewall is black as well and the wheel arches too. Do they paint the car in different colors?

I will post some pictures tomorrow, I forget my USB-Stick at work.

Maybe the guy who was spraying the bottom side of the floor boars had green in his paint gun left over from the last car he sprayed. The old "nobody will ever see it I'll just empty the gun on the area over the tank" thing. Or it could have been some rust fighting paint that they sprayed on all of them in that area. If the original colors match the paint tag there isn't much to worry about if you are restoring it with those colors and if you are putting custom colors on it it's wasted time even thinking about it.
