Does anyone know what the Kingpin INclination angle is for a 1940 Lincoln. My understanding is that aftermarket spindles 37-48 type are 8 1/4 degrees. I have access to some Lincoln spindles, but want to know how they compare. I know they have bigger kingpins, but I am a machinist and could bush them down
According to my 1935-48 CHILTON's MANUAL the king pin inclination for 1935-48 Linclons varies depending on the model. The chart in the book says this: 1935-40 Model K inclination is 7 1/2 degrees.No king pin dia. listed. For 1940 Model 06H the inclination is 3 3/4 to 4 3/4 degrees. According to another book I have it says that the Model 06h is the Lincoln Zephyr with a wheelbase of 125in. There are two Model K series lsited. One K series has the 136 in wheelbase. The other K series has the 145 in. wheelbase. All the various mdels under each series cl***ification are also listed. Email me or PM me if you need for info. It's free.
Foprgot to say that tyhe dia. of the 1940 Model Forgot to say that the king pin dia for the Model 06H 1940 Lincoln is .937 The king pin dia for the Model K 1935- 1940 Lincoln is not listed. But the king pin inclination is. It's 7 1/2 degrees. Forgot to say th
