Does anyone know what the Kingpin INclination angle is for a 1940 Lincoln. My understanding is that aftermarket spindles 37-48 type are 8 1/4 degrees.

I have access to some Lincoln spindles, but want to know how they compare. I know they have bigger kingpins, but I am a machinist and could bush them down

According to my 1935-48 CHILTON's MANUAL the king pin inclination for
1935-48 Linclons varies depending on the model. The chart in the book says this: 1935-40 Model K inclination is 7 1/2 degrees. No king pin dia. listed. For 1940 Model 06H the inclination is 3 3/4 to 4 3/4 degrees. According to another book I have it says that the Model 06h is the Lincoln Zephyr with a wheelbase of 125in. There are two Model K series lsited. One K series has the 136 in wheelbase. The other K series has the 145 in. wheelbase.
All the various mdels under each series cl***ification are also listed. Email me or PM me if you need for info. It's free.
