A little OT but.....I am in the middle of restoring an early 60's SA-200 welder with the f162 continental engine and I need a wiring diagram for the DC recepticle, I have red, white, and black wires coming from the generator, and a red from the fine amperage adjustment. Any pics or diagrams would be appreciated.

Have you checked Lincoln's web site? They have a lot of manuals available for download. Not sure if they go back that far or not though.

Yeah, they have the operating manual, but no wiring diagrams

It looks like you're right. They have the operating manual as you said, and a parts manual. The parts manual is much clearer than the one in the back of the operating manual.

The manuals list the wiring diagram as M8791. I'd contact Lincoln and see if they can provide it to you.

Last time I contacted them for a manual, they mailed one free of charge.

I still have the 68 model that I broke out with in 71. I put an idle eze on it years ago and used it on the pipelines for many a years. I have overhauled it twice. Does yours have the short cowl on it? It's a good machine, copper wound. If you don't find the information I can get it from you from a friend who does Lincoln work in Odessa. I have actually flown him into jobs just to work on my welder. TP
