Lincoln Electric SP135T, does anyone have one? I was wondering what kind of performance you got out of it. What is your satisfaction with it?

Is it the small 110v unit? If so, I have one just like it. Rocks, best investment in a tool I have made yet. I got the mig kit for mine and it welds like a dream.

Same here, I am happy with it. bought my 110V lincoln used and it is a great machine! I use fluxcore for the heavy stuff and get real good penetration. Also have the gas setup for MIG and welded mild and stainless steel without problems. I would buy the same machine again.

I've got one of the smaller 100's and been very happy with it. Had it about 10 years now. I'm buying a larger mig welder this weekend just so I can do heavier steal but plan on keeping thw Weldpak 100 just for the portability of it. It's been my best tool that I've ever bought.

Not to hijack the post but I wondered if anyone has any opinions on the Hobart Handler 125. I bought one today from tractor supply and have not opened it up yet. $326 seemed like a pretty good price too.

Hi El Caballo! I recently bought an SP135 PLUS (don't know if Canadian Lincolns are different from American models??) and I LOVE it! Smooth as gl*** and I can't believe my welds, like "Holy **** - did I do that!?!?!?". Mine had an excellent setup and welding instruction manual with it. And this is from someone who only previously did stick on a Miller and hadn't struck an arc in over four years. Previous to that it was sixteen years! I just ran a few dozen beads for practice following the manual's tips and before I knew it - Yahoo! [IMG] Hope this helps! Good luck! [IMG] Regards, Dave.

I have one and use it a lot. One recommendation is forget the regular wire and find some ESAB EasyGrind wire. The stuff makes a huge difference and is true to its name. Took me a few shops to find it and it comes in a large roll which is nice. The store I found it at said "all the old style body shops use it" I found out about it from enjenjo on RRT.
