Links to Holley 94 Technical info

Hey fellas, I need some help. I’m converting two of my 94’s into secondaries and was told

“that 94’s do not have the open vent. This was a known casting problem. A "TSB" was issued to rectify the lack of a vent. There should be a hole drilled just under the coke shaft support in the top of the accelerator pump housing. If not you need to open up the vent.”

Where is the vent or coke shaft support exactly? How large of a hole does it need to be? If anyone can help me out I’d be greatly appreciative.

 

The dedicated group page for 94’s doesn’t seem to work. Link is broken. Can anyone recommend a good book for building and upgrading Holley 94’s? I’ve shopped around and really only found tech videos. Would be nice to have a book on my shelf for future reference. Thanks

Yea incredible collection of knowledge. I was just wondering if there were any comparable books I could buy. Or even if the original link could be fixed for a one stop shop manual here

 

Do you have the book "Repair Manual Fuel Systems 1938-1948", c-March 28-1948, Ford Motor company.? It is a good book for the early Ford Carbs.

 

No I don’t…. Uhhh I mean I didn’t lol. I just looked it up on fleabay and bought a copy. Thank you for the suggestion and I look forward to studying!

Hey @Dreddybear , I just tried to click a link or two on the initial post regarding rebuilding, and none of the links worked. It may be my work firewall, so I'll look again tonight when I get home.

Any help or updates would be stellar!

 

What I have found is that some of the links ( mainly HAMB ones ) still work and some seem to have floated off above the clouds..…….

Sounds like I'm in the right place for 94 info. can anyone shed some light on the squarters for the accelerator pump? I have some that are different, some have the discharge holes aimed down and some shoot more straight, does one flow more than the other?
