There are probably thousands that do great work. My list would be Larry Hook, Yosemite Sam, and Dave Jones. There are a lot of years of striping in this group.

  14. Well, I've been only lurking on this thread on account I could never get it down to just 3 individuals. There have been hundreds of worthy names on this thread, many, many personal favs of mine. Maybe in the near future I'll get enough balls to post a list of my favorites. I do have them.

Still, to all you kind folks that dropped my name in this venerable list of who's who of Pinstriping, well, a million thanks. I really am not worthy!

The other reason for this post is to welcome Laurie Harama (nee Medina) to the Chicago Brushmasters family. She now resides in Illinois and has been safely tucked into our fold. She's a very nice woman and a helluva talent. I got a call from Anthony White about her and Anthony you are absolutely right!

Here's a few pics of Laurie at our most recent get-together last month at Midwest Hot Rods in Plainfield, Il. We're looking forward to her and many other artists at our 2nd Annual Chicago Brushmasters Charity Automotive Art Auction at the '09 Chicago World of Wheels.

There was a guy named Oftdahl in the NorCal area (as in Eureka, not Bakersfield) who realy did nice work. Very tasteful, very understated, very clean. I never met him, but I did own a car that had been done by him some years before. I heard lots of stories about him and always wondered what ever beacome of him.
