Saw this at the Bouse Arizona car show yesterday...
    a 3/4 size 1949 Mercury two door sedan !!

It's all steel, with Toyota running gear (shortened rear axle). The owner/builder Ernie Adams says it's actually closer to 11/16 scale, and does 80 MPH on the road no sweat.
It's registered as a 2009 Dwarf (Ernie is "Mr. Dwarf Car").

He also has build a dwarf 39 Chevy and a 42 Ford.

I have seen the 39 Chevy and the 42 Ford....this guy is incredible...a true artist and metal craftsman in my book! If you don't have someone standing by the vehicle you would sware it's just another original size car....

Does he build full size cars as well? With metal working talent like that he should be.

Cool. Looks to be a ton of sheet metal work. Anyone have any build photos?

Man ,that is pretty neat .It looks stock which makes it even sneakier ...

  14. He definately has some major skills. The detail on these cars is amazing!
He was driving the '42 all over the fairgrounds at Back to the 50's, a couple years ago... and with over 11,000 cars there, I'm willing to bet that little car drew the most attention. Anytime I saw it parked there were big crowds around it.

I've seen a '39 Chevy at Pomona swapmeet before. Don't think it's the same one though. I think it was burgandy.
