Little O/T Smokey Yunick adiabatic Fiero?

Let me tell you, I worked next door to Smokey (as in 40 feet away) and that motor was 100% vaporware that he basically made up for shits and giggles. His sense of humor was like that - half science and half bullshit. I wish his family had half of it instead of just fighting over his fortune when he died. His FREAK of a daughter ended up selling the land and the garage to condo developers as she was the executor of the estate. Bitch. Sorry, he was a nice old guy and was damned helpful to the hot rodding community in Daytona.

By the way, the article says she "runs her dad's publishing company" and then includes link to http://www.smokeyyunick.com/ which is half broken. She has a POS pet bird shop and keeps dogs out in the back exposed to the elements as would be guard dogs. Yes, she has had tickets issued by the cops about the dogs. grrr. now I gotta get some water and go relax. damn.

I saw that car (fuel vapor technologies)on the street last week.Very wild looking in traffic in a place like here.I remember the articles in Hot Rod mag back in the 80s by Smokey,very interesting read.Always wondered what happened to the technology,especially when Fuel Vapor Technologies opened for business here in Canada.
