The girl is still on the show because she "needs" to be there until close to the end for marketing/demographic/drama reasons. Someone MUCH better than her will get booted off first unless she quits. I'm just glad the other gal quit in week one. It really does a disservice to lady rodders to have thos two representing on this show. Surely, they could have looked a little harder for a more qualified cast member...

I hated the show the first couple of weeks. Too much drama and nonsense. It seems that Jimmy is now a little more comfortable and the show is LIGHTYEARS ahead of American Chopper/Hotrod. The drama has drawn me in somewhat, anyway. It's hard not to root for the ex-con to do well. Seems like a good guy. Dave, of course, is the man.

The girl wouldnt be such a problem if she didnt show her *** all the time. Like when she made the brackets for the cover and said "Oh well its good enough" lol do you not know who you're working for? I though it was funny showing her the video of the HHR and Pete telling her this stuff isnt going to happen!

I saw the previews and I thought this would be the best episode yet. Then I missed it.

Dave is the star of the show last night proved it.

 

by the sounds of the commercials for the up coming episode, it looks like that chick is gonna go next, finally less whining and more working, screw the drama, shows like that dont need that stuff.

 

I think Jessie from Extreme 4X4 on Spike TV would be the best. Good looks and can just about build anything.

 

I'd give her a job,any woman that can work on a car is very impressive in my book.

Dave's the MAN!!! So many guys on my job watch the show and asked me today "who's the guy with the *****in cars?" LittleBIGman!!! Dave...you make the show worth watching.

 

I think Dave has the most talent of anyone on the show.... thats including Mr Shine. Littleman is no novice hotrod builder !!!!! Look At His Shop !!! And yes he needs his own show .... It should be called something like..
... I dont talk ****, I build it .....

When you have a shop and an employee like Dave... with an eye for Quailty ..You put him where it counts and dont worry about how much time he takes... because you know it would be done right..... Like on the show last night .... nobody else on the "Team" could have built the engine mount that would hold up to the abuse of MR LEAD foot... and Mr. Shine knows that.. but the non car person veiwer has no idea ... It just kinda ****s that the statement was made , he had been on the mount for three days ....B.F.D

We may not be their target demographic. One of the commercials during last night's show was Oil of Olay. Strange choice for a gearhead show.

 

I was at SO-CAL today and got to admire Dave's DDS Coupe up close all by myself in a quiet room. It was surreal! What a car! Amazing!!!!

 

I wish I had watched now,a friend at work was talking about watching it and them going to daves place.
I turned it off and got on here when I saw they were still on the the elcamino (not interested in elcaminos after 60 or a bunch of drama) I had already watched boyds gang go surfing??? they did build a cool wagon in between the B.S. though.

I shot so many photos of that coupe at the So-Cal open house. A great looking car with insane detail. The frame alone is a work of art.

 

AMEN ...... Brother .....
