Smart move, you hate sanding and he's probably happy to do it. Good for all.

Didnt he just say HE didnt do the work......and proudly???????;)

    (that was a gag.....get***???? ...not a put-down:D )

But it looks awesome so far.

Serious question.......NOT wanting to start a row....JUST askin.....

Why does this NOT make Evel a "checkbook rodder" that we all lambasted in the late 90s.... I mean....I know he's not,....but WHY not?????? What makes this form of subcontracting so different????

    Either way...that rod looks *****in!:D

I'm thinking the year of building it in his garage and the first 2 months of sanding that he did kinda count for something.

Looking good bro, are you gonna have a "Bra" made so the grill shell doesn't get chipped driving it to Texas for the LSR??

I hate Bondo work too! I am glad I have the cisco kid to bang mine out for me.

Do you have to have a german keyboard to put the omulets or whatever they call those things over the letters, or is that a special Motley Crue font you can download??? ha ha ha

Not to get too far off topic, but there are special character codes you can use to get "ethnic" letters from your keyboard so everyone else doesn't have to load the font to see it.
And there is a von dutch font, as well.

Hahahaha I did ALLOT of the work on the car along with my good friends
who helped..But when your going to have a really nice paint job..I didn't
want to screw it up with my little knowledge of body work....Plus I spent
2 weeks sanding filler and I'm over it...and I don't think I could have it
done for GNRS if I kept going at it on my own...
You can't build a show car with out farming some stuff out...trust me if I was building a "Rat Rod" I would of had it done 4 months ago and I would blend in with the rest of the Model A coupes.. so maybe Part Time Check book Hot Rodder...hahahah will all have a good laugh when the car is done...

Because his heart and soul are in that car. And if it wasn't for all of his hard work, it wouldn't even exist. You'd be hard pressed to find a guy who does every aspect of his car... paint, upholstery, engine work, frame work, suspention design, etc...

Especially one that's of the same quality and vision of this car...

Plus, he makes a living making movies about REAL hot rods. Thats where the dollars in the checks come from....

I'm proud as **** to have turned a bold on it, and to have ruined a drill on it.
