I totaly dig the moon disks, i think people dont like em because they think theyve been over done so they arent cool anymore, i dont think so! i love the hood to, finishes the profile of the car with some neat stuff poking its way out. the windows are cool but i dont think it adds or takes away much to the look, they are just there if that makes sense! long live moon disks jeff

I like the moon disk, but you would need to raise the rear and inch or two to get it right with the disk... overall I like the look, could picture a race version with engine set back
I agree too...with that but I actually think with the photoshop looks like I have allot less than more compared to the exposed chromed out motor... I still love my Bling Tho..
Heck, I love it both ways. I like spun aluminum caps myself on the right cars. On your's with the hood and sides, my first thought was Bonneville also. Hell, just for chits and giggles I'd get myself a set of caps and make up the hood for those times you want the changes. It's like two-two mints in one.
i am torn between the two looks... i love the racerish look of the moon discs and full hood... but I also love the belle of the ball look of the reverses and no hood. run a hood and moons on one side and leave the other side the way that you have it...
I love it with the hood top, the hood sides make it look like a gross pontiac from the 30's just too long in the front. the hood top makes me think of a 16 year old girl with a short skirt, I cant wait to peak underneith!!!
^^^ Wow Chris, that's statement is quite disturbing. Think you could have picked something different to say... Maybe it's because I have two daughters of my own that I find that disturbing. With that outta the way, I like it with the hood on and the moon discs. I don't think you could really screw up the looks of Live Wire though... Beautiful car.

I always loved the look of the Silver Sapphire in it's early stages before barris got it.. I was looking for a picture and I couldn't find it ....but when it had the 32 grille on it Moon disks and scallops.. I believe it was at the drags..ANy one go that pic?? no on everything.IMO car looks great as is.if anything just the hood,and i would only do the top of the hood.i think the white wall is too wide for the moon discs on your car.if you look the other car has pie cut narrower white wall it makes a huge difference.again just my stupid opinion.
Fond some cool pix going through my hard drives... I dig these type of caps too.. again this probley won't happen for a long time and by then who knows..And it will be a temporary swap for a different look now and then.,. check out the Copper 32 is swapping his wheels and disks for slicks.. changing it up for the strip.. I want to do that.. Pull a seat out.. throw in the roll bar and go.. then back to Show on Monday.. I know he's doing it for speed but I want to do that too

It looks good any of those three ways. I get the Moon discs too. I think you need to have the right mix of details to pull it off. I have no idea what those details are specifically, but your car has them and it can all be seen at a glance.
I much prefer the original version meself,you can't inprove on such a STUNNING ''A'' in my humble opinion for what its worth.
