One of the nicer hot rods at the GNRS. Like the Mike Curtis wheels too!

OK, I will be the first to admit that my photos did NOT come out nearly as nice as all the ones I've seen posted inline here... I did attend (total newbie, wishing and wanting for so many years, but finally seeing it this time). I was in total awe, but somehow, strangely, this old dirty beast in the parking lot late on Sunday afternoon on my way out the door was my absolute fave.

What's the story on this dirty car? I am in love... I've seen a lot over the years. But this one just grabs me... Just look at the rain and dirt that dried on this wonderful car. WOW. I'm guessing it was probably at a KKOA meet sometime in the early '80s which would have been about the time I was starting to understand all this. Again, I'm in love.

Me too! Saw it at the Roadster Shop when it was on the Brizio tour a few years ago. It was in primer then, and had "the look". Now it even looks better....really like that color.

  12. Im not sure why but I always liked the flames on that car, not a usual style. I did a little research for you. I think it is (or was) Steve Bonge's 57 olds 88, and was featured in ol skool rodz No. 3

57 Olds is one of my dream cars. Seen lots of pics of that one over the years. Don't know who it belongs to, but it sure does have a lot of soul, a lot of miles too. Great pics btw.
