Don't know anything about the Gomer Pyle secret password! I'm talking about CORNDOGS!

Getting close! I've got everything rolling i reckon. Hell I even painted the cragars that Ron gave me so my car will fit in! I'm going out of town the rest of this week for fire training, but next week I'll take everything to the tshirt guy and see what he comes up with. I've played music for years, used to be my only job, but I never dreamed I'd have so much trouble getting a band hired. So, Saturday night, live in concert, will be yours truly. Tired of leaving messages and not getting return calls. Hope to get a good crowd out, bring chairs, tents if that's your plan, coolers, bring some parts to throw on the ground to sale, and have a great time with us in our part of the world!

I wish I was able to make such a trek...but it's just not in the cards...I'm sure it will be a blast Lloyd...you worked hard for this...well deserved. Thank you for your service.

The silver lining is I think there'll be pics...:)

IMG_20230823_142934536.jpg painting the new mill for my heap. Getting serious about making the car ready for the trek in October. Starting to question the "wisdom" of brush painting this thing...

I'm waiting until the end of this week and then I'll go to the tshirt shop. Had a couple of guys wanna sponsor but I haven't recieved it yet. All sponsors will be on the back of the shirt, so at the end of this week if I haven't recieved anything I've gotta get the ball rolling so the shirts can be done on time.

I know the feeling. A week ago, returning from Tri-5, I totaled my Motor Home. Nomad on trailer behind is okay. Wife, cat and I are okay, just changes a lot of plans. But I am still planning on coming, will have to find Motel to stay at. Will pull '40 behind my F150.
Hopefully you can still make it.

Man I'm sorry that happened to you, I can imagine you're pissed and nauseous. You've worked your ass of on that truck. If there's anything I can do just shoot me a text.

Brake check? You need a dash cam.

  22. Not sure why a dash cam would have helped….

@55 Ford Gasser and @57 Fargo - I'm glad you guys are ok. Sorry about the damage. Whitetail are so abundant here there should be open season all year.

  25. The risk of driving them I suppose. Glad it was a small deer.

  26. There’s enough dna on the truck…no doubt about it!:)

It won’t go through insurance, I’ll just fix it.

Damn, hate to see that. Glad the damage is limited to what it is. I took the feet out from under a moose with a Chrysler Intrepid in far northern Alberta one time. That will increase your heart rate, I assure you.

  28. I’m glad you guys are all ok! @57 Fargo I’m so sorry you guys won’t be there, I was looking forward to meeting you, but I completely understand. Truckdoctor Wife just hit her 3rd deer a week ago. Of course her car is less than a year old. I’ve been referring to her as Deer Slayer. I told her I’m going to build a grille guard for her car, she was not amused.

  29. I already text Lloyd that I have some figuring to do over the next couple weeks, we will see, the truck won’t be there for sure.

  30. My crap won’t be ready.
But I still want to visit you idiots
