32 miles of pure, unadulterated hell . I must admit that I was able to hitch a few rides along the way. Those and the bars I ran across that sold 25 cent tap beer were all that saved me .

Well it is with great sorrow that I have to admit that I will be coming in one of my OT GMC transporting trucks! I tried my very best with the time I had to get the Nash or the GP to the point that I could trust them, but just couldn't do it!!!

I will say that my Wife Laura has been So Very Supportive, she told me last night that " You tried your best & we will still have a great time meeting the folks from the HAMB "& you have all winter to finish/build the cars you have started! Guys...I am so blessed to have a woman like this & we WILL have a great time over the next 4 days!!!!

Faced with the choice of putting the XLR-V in the trailer & making a couple of passes in the mid 12's or driving her 2020 Subaru down....I opted to drive one of my transporting trucks to at least save face! LOL

Can't wait to put faces to names & spend some "Bench Racing" time with everyone who attends as well as seeing some of the guys I have met when I got the chance to transport their babies!!!

I was really close & will gladly take the ribbing associated with NOT bringing a car, but had I made time to finish one of mine...Someone else would have not received one of theirs in a timely fashion!

It'll probably be late, all depends on the weather at this point, showing rain tmrw night and Friday morning, but he's advertising a race Friday night, usually just a trophy race and test and tune, here's what he's showing for Friday and Saturday

Well... what I am driving to Lloydfest might not fit, but I think they are cool, because they continue to get my sorry @ss around the country & back to the tune of 600,000+ miles on each!

got the wife's truck up to the house going to check the fluids & pack it up We are going to drive down Friday I have stuff to do tomorrow so I need to get ready today . Plan is to drive her home Friday night she says that's all the fun she can stand . plan to drive back Saturday in a different car

 

Yeah he stays there from Wednesday until Sunday. I'll be at the track Friday afternoon setting my stuff up. Gates open Friday at 5, but you can come early. Track opens Saturday at 10am, but people will be camping, you can come in

 

Picked up another $435 in donations from Williams paint supply today. He donated a full set of buffing compounds, 3 bottles, package of foam pads, a 7" buffer, 2 t-shirts, and a Sata go pro camera Lewis flooring donated a Dewalt cordless drill driver kit, and I've got a shit ton of tools to give away. Trying to do better than the normal bottle of car wash soap lol. Went over to the track to talk to Tim some more. Asked if we can build a fire, he said "you better! Have you seen what the temperature is gonna be lol"
