  1. Sometimes the fun is on route to the destination!

Sometimes you can have more fun and adventures on the journey than the destination. When I used to ride snowmobiles we sometimes made more memories on the road then the sledding.

  3. Agreed! There were days we only made it a few miles from where we unloaded but had a blast doing it.

To all of you that helped make this possible, your name is on the back of the shirt, (well they screwed up 55 Ford gasser but it's probably my fault the way I wrote it down, he is bootlegger Billy for some reason) but I want you to know that you made this happen!! I'm serious when I say I couldn't have done it without your help and from the bottom of my heart, I thank you. Some of you got your shirts at the track, but I just mailed out the rest. I have tracking numbers to each of you just in case you don't recieve them.

You must live in Wisconsin where it's a state law, regulation, or general idea that your sled is required to stop at every bar along the way ;). I know the group that I rode with had a by-law like that.

No, I live in Indiana. Had a bad experience the first time we went to Wisconsin. Done with that state! Stayed in Indiana and Michigan after that. Yes, we rode bar to bar to bar! Even carried an emergency 6pack in each sled! You know for emergencies. That was over 30 years ago though.

Back when they hung people for their crime, they called it "court day", it was a big deal, people showed up to sell stuff, watch the hanging, etc, now once a year we still have court days, but there's no hanging lol, big flea market type festival, I did see a set of wide whites for sale on my way to the firehouse lol

Just to throw it out there, I've got 10 large shirts left, 1 extra large, and 3 of the 3XL. $16 shipped to you, first come first served. Ask me here on this thread if anybody wants them so I can keep track. I'll also throw in a dash plaque. Proceeds will go towards next year's shirts.

  18. You are very welcome. Maybe next year I can show up. Having a Florida trip planned in Nov. and now taking care of a family member kinda put the kibosh on going anywhere. It was fun looking in here to see how it was going all weekend.

Pretty cool Lloyd. I hope to be able to wear the shirt and shake your hand some day.
You’ve made an event that sounds like it’s going to grow. I recall you mentioning retiring , planning Lloydfest 23 might keep you busy all year ‘round!

Can't blame you for not riding in Wisconsin. Some of those farmers like to keep folks from riding across their land by stringing barbed wire across the trails neck high. I've seen stories in the papers there about snowmobile rider decapitations and people going to jail for it.
