  1. Lloyd, I just got caught up on all the shenanigans at the event & the latest news from the home front which came as a shock, I feel for you brother and have you in my thoughts & prayers, I don't know what it's like and I can't offer anything but encouragement.

I don't know you like many of the guys here but I do know you are resilient and you WILL survive the storm, We are all pulling for you.

    Good Luck my friend. Danny

Hope that gets you up and running with the shop.

  4. I hate to see it go Lloyd. I enjoyed your build.

Was it a HAMB member that purchased it?

  5. I hate that you had to sell your dream but you did what you had to do, I do know it was a difficult decision but this will help you get back on your feet, I'm happy that you found a quick buyer and it didn't drag out for months. HRP

  6. I don’t quite feel right about liking your post, but I understand how it goes. When this is said and done, we will help you put together another bad ass car.

Yeah, only Ford I've ever owned had been model A's, and they all had sbc engines. Had a 64 Galaxie 500XL few years ago, put a sbc in it too lol. Car isn't gone yet. Deposit has been paid and he's coming Monday to get it. I should've said heading up Michigan, not headed lol.

Well,,when the need arises, do what’s needed. So sorry to see it go. Wish I had one out back I could send your way.
Would an old barrel take its place? Or how about a 3 point rototiller that needs a gear box, or…?
Nevermind, you don’t want my junk to move around.

Sales can be touchy. I understand the question as well as the answer. This is where the gray area alway’s resides.

My Dad always said "never sell your tools, no matter how bad things get, you can always use em to make money..."

If one gets out with their tools and a shirt on the back that's a good starting place. Some have had it worse.
Still have a few front axles if you need for your next venture.

Even thought you might not think so, there's a bright side to all this. It gives you an unexpected opportunity to expand your horizons. You can actually consider switching to FORD! :D

Update. I bought the 50 Chevy truck from her. Fancy huh? Seeing as I bought it and all the parts, and worked my ass off on it. Lmao! But this means I'll be in Bowling Green in the spring

Hang in there man, nothing easy about this situation. I've been there. I'd tell you to keep your head on straight but then you wouldn't be you ;), so just take it one day at a time brother.
