Local collector has an eye for the ODD stuff...

He's amassing a pretty odd collection of extremely rare vehicles. I can't help but smile whenever i drive by his house!

I'm suprised the neighbors don't bitch about the cars. Unless he usually keeps them hid & drug them out for the photo op.

The guy down the street from me had that Dean Moon transporter for a while about 8-10 years ago. I wondered where it went. He has some cool stuff also, a Lotus open wheel car and a Cad engined Allard

 

Geoff's a really cool guy.... He spent some time researching a car I found locally.

 

Actually, I contacted Geoff, and I am going to see him tomorrow.

He's got some "different" vehicles. Sounds like a cool guy.

 

He's just off a main road too and the cars are clearly visible from the 4 lane.

That thing must be a trip to drive, especially in sharp corners with the turning wheels behind you.

 

According to Hacker, Holtkamp owned the Cheetah Transporter until 1971, when he sold it to Dean Moon. Moon owned it until his death, at which point it was sold to race car collector Jim Degnan, who in turn sold it to Hacker in 2006.
