Theres a '69 Chevelle SS rotting under a tarp across the street from a '68-9?? Super Bee(has the two scoops on the hood, hemi? 6-pack? dunno I'm not a Mopar dude) wich sits in tall grass probobly rusting away. Those two are about a mile from my house, both owners don't want to sell 'cause they're gonna fix 'em up someday. Those two cars have been sitting for 13 years that I know of, & looked like they'd been there 13 years when I first seen 'em! But you know, my uncle let his '68 442, a nice, Black on Black, 4 speed 442 rot under a tree off the coast of Nor-Cal for 20 years and is now having a shop fully restore that rusted hulk! They said they didn't even want to do the job because it was going to cost so much he'd be better off to buy one already done or a survivor. But it was his first car, the one he dated his wife in and he dosn't care. He want's it done. I have a car like that, me & my wifes first old car. People have stopped in & tried to buy it. "Is that 'ol car for sale?" "Nope." "But you didn't even ask how much I'd give 'ya!" "Don't much care, it's not for sale, not for any price." I get your point though, it's tough to see old iron rusting away. But in my opinion, let his car rust, spend your time on your own ride. You can't get back time.

    Later- John

Here in Dallas I went and looked at a 62 falcon futura that was a 1 owner. Belonged to his mother. Looked good , but wheen I jacked it up the oil pan was rotted , and the unibody frame was starting to rott. I didnt think black dirt would do that . It was one of those " Its was my Moms car , I am going to fix it up " cars. Now he wonts to sell it and prob. wont. But like everyone else has said it his.
