Some random pics from a show in West Michigan, Grand Haven to be exact....Enjoy!
The only reason I included the Duece is because it used to belong to my dad. I was excited, as he sold it long before I was born. My dad sold it to a friend, locally, in October 1964, who still owns it. Then it was bone stock, dressed in Washington Blue. My dad hasn't seen it in over 40 years. He got a sheepish grin and muttered "I never should have let this one go..." Of co**** I fired back "Yah, I would have been a laughing stock driving this to highschool!":D What a first car that would have been:( Talked to his friend for a long time, he tells me "I'm glad I got it before you did..."
Note the pic of the rear frame step on the roadster, Yikes! Just a piece of steel with a couple bolts through it. I almost asked if they were hardened, or standard, like it would matter.:D
The carbs are from an original "E-code' Thunderbird, just never seen Tea-cup Holleys before.

If the '32 Sedan you have pictured is the one your dad used to own maybe if you had gotten it you could have saved it from becoming a "street rod" and built a "hot rod" out of it. The one in my avatar is my daily driver in the summer and if I had built something like your dad's turned into I'd spend my time polishing instead of driving. It's closing in on 80,000 miles and I think I washed it 3-4 years ago. I'm having more fun than the law allows and hope to enjoy it for many more years,

Are you kidding? If a 16 year old me would have got my hands on it, it would have looked like one of those Pimp my ride abortions:D 22's, tv's, 37,000 watts, 48 speakers, waterfall console, lace paint and so on. It was better off in his care. It's not my style, but at least I know it's in good hands, he's still p***ionate about keeping it. I would liked to have told him "If it's ever forsale, call me FIRST!", but who am I kidding, I could barely afford to put gas in it. Besides, everything he's done can always be undone, it's just a matter of money and taste. She could still get saved, someday. Maybe I should afford some Lotto tickets....
