I just posted a thread on why people don't put their location on the profile any more. I ***ume it was instantly deleted so I guess I'll ask it here for lack of any where else. Its a big help when I'm searching the cl***ifieds especially for cars(bought 2 over the years). I have also made some great friends that lived right up the road and I never would of known about them other wise. Am I missing some sort of scam that is out there or are we just getting too damn paranoid? Just putting the State down would be great. wraymen likes this
Folks are just getting too damn lazy to fill out their profile,now that Ryan does not really require an introduction....If he would require introductions with REQUIRED questions to answer,not just give blanket approval for new accounts,IT would greatly improve this website.
I've been contemplating this for some time myself, maybe a step too far though in that I would like to see the cl***ifieds (be it for a car or for parts or whatever) have at least the state in the ***le we shouldn't have to go in and click on the subscribers profile in hopes that we can find what state/country they live in. Furthermore for the mobile app it would be nice if they would update it to where you could see prices. Unless it's written in the text you can't see it unless you go to the drop-down menu and select "web view" don't get me wrong this site is fantastic but I'm with you there are a few what seem to be small things that could be fixed to make the experience better for all of us as buyers and sellers.... Fellas I get what you're saying but you can't force guys to post location information.. Guys who are trying to sell makes it less marketable if they don't post where they're at, plus if they have very few posts people are going to be su****ious of who they are.
We already have members that fill out their location as "Minnebraska" or "Your Mom's House". Ultimately, it would be kind of unenforceable.
