Local locksmith's keep telling me to go buy new locks instead of getting them re-keyed. I know this was covered a few days ago, but I'm asking if anyone has a cheap solution. State College seems to be the meca of Bullshit lazy people. I'm so f'in angry right now.

I had the same problem with my '71 Nova. Danged locksmith wanted to take the easy way out and make more money. I insisted on keys only, and got what I wanted. It took him about an hour and a half to get a key to kind of work. He never complained, but told me the locks were so worn that I'd never get them to work smoothly. He was right, I was wrong. My locks were worn badly. So sometimes they aren't lazy. He must have thought I was really an ass...but he didn't charge me extra. One of these days I need to put new locks in that Nova...
