Lokar FMX shifter work on a Cruise-o-matic?

Hey Gang
Just curious if anybody knows if a Lokar shifter built for a FMX transmission work on a Cruise-O-matic transmission?

 

They are basicly the same trans so I would think it should work.

 

Cruise-O-Matic was a marketing term FoMoCo used, was never a trans type. FMX,
C6 were both marketed as Crise-O-Matic.

 

Should have said if it has the cast iron trans case its should work,I forgot they called all the trans COMs during certain years.

 

What year is the trans? Is it a green dot cruise o matic?
I was told by a lokar rep that their shifter will not work with that. Only fmx and c4-6. I'm sure you could make it work,but outta the box no.
