Has anyone had a issue with this ?It seemed so straight forward and simple but when I follow the direction of the alum plug and all it doesnt work right it will start in neutral but Drive too .I tried adjusting it like 10 times ,When it wont start in reverse it will start in drive and vise versa .The gears shift properly .Its not not a big deal for me but its not safe and want it to be correct just not sure what I can do .

I made a shim from flashing to move the plug out, cured the same problem for me.

I had the same problem with mine but it was fitted to a Mopar 727 and I think they build them to suit GM and Ford and use the same bits for the Mopar but they just aren't right. I could not get it to work in both Park and Neutral so I filed out the neutral section and now can only start in Park. I felt that was the safest option.

Yeah I was thinking to do that .I spent like 2 hours going out and under adjusting it like mm to try to adjust it .Then I could get it to work in park but then it would only go in drive too .
