Disregard this, I didn't notice page 3 before I asked if you planning to paint it.

Mark, you should know better than to rush a paint job. Wait till you get back so you can take your time. You want that thing to look good for all those seaweed flake flames your gonna paint on it.

We can start another thread with progress pics of the paint job. You gotta give the board something to look forward too.
You could even wait for a tech week and do a post on car painting 101.

Update...I went with Mark to pick it up at the muffler shop...it is shooting fire out the pipes and needs a tune but it rolled down Irving Blvd. like a big dog. Some of the guys and Mark are gonna fool with it tonight (time it again etc.), but that bad boy lives!

Well, what was supposed to be a hour to hour and a half of fine tune turned into all day and she still has some things that need to be done for the Round Up, but here she is with her new mags...oh, and don't let the insane clown guys in the second picture scare you...they are harmless.

You are going to lose the bumper guards right, Mark?

And isn't that air cleaner/scoop supposed to be titty pink? [IMG]

Seriously, it looks kick ass...can't wait to see it driving down S. Congress.

Maybe it's because it's 4:30 a.m. and I just came in from working in the garage and am dead tired...

But am I the only one who noticed the last three letters of that license plate?? Haha!

Can't wait to see it on Tuesday man...

    Mark,

Use the Orange RTV, sometimes called copper. It is REALLY high temp stuff and is very nice for gaskets near heads.

The more I think about it the more I wonder if a all night chopping party before the Round Up could happen [IMG]

Naw! (but it would look kinda cool)

  29. Mark and Honest got the oil leak fixed and drove it from
Dallas to Arlington for it's first shakedown. Nothing was
dragging behind it when they showed up.

A couple little cleanup items and she's ready to head south
to Austin this weekend. With plenty of time to spare.
