anyone coming to Austin for the round up this year. I would love to see some these projects in person.
I will be there, but driving my '55 Buick, not my Victoria. My goal had been to get the Vicky there, finished or not, but constant delays during the winter blew that goal out the window. To meet that goal I'd have had to half-*** a lot of things together, and that's just not the way I'm wired. It's not going to be a fancy car by any means, but I intend for every aspect of its construction to be done to the very best of my ability. I plan to do everything but the upholstery myself. So, I bought the Buick to have something to drive to events like the Roundup this year as I work on the Vicky and build it slowly and build it right. I'll post photos of the Buick when it's a little closer to being done. I'm giving it a quick facelift right now and the "before" pictures just don't do it justice. It's "Kermit Green", so you can't miss it! See you there!
Anybody else? If so, please wear your "HAMB '52-'56 Ford Social Group" t-shirt! That way we'll be able to recognize each other even though we're not by our cars. I can hardly wait! The Roundup is such a neat event!
I wish I could go, not enough $$$. My inlaws live in San Antonio, so I would have a place to stay. BUT not enough denaro to get there.
