    Very cool... I like it...

Even with digital you can see the difference from someone who started with film. I see it a lot with skate pics. It definitely gives you some roots.

Will someone feed Ryan? By the way, I thought he was taller than this last time I saw him.

Great shots! Just goes to show that it's not the equipment, but the photographer.

I have the entire Time-Life book series on photography, 1971-80. You can get these volumes pretty cheap on ebay, and they have a lot of good instruction on film photography, color and black and white as well as slides, equipment, lighting, and the great photographers of the 20th century among other subjects. Highly recommended.

Should have brought my old Canon AE-1 to the Roundup!

HA! I can't wait to get the film here so I can go nuts. there are a couple shows coming up that I plan to shoot only in film and let the gods decide how they come out. I've got a D200 with some decent glass too, but I've been feelin the film vibe recently. And my Flickr link is in my sig, not all hotrod stuff but if you poke around a bit you'll see some decent stuff.

I've got a really cool trick for running 120 through a 620 body. The only thing you need is a pair of manly nailclippers (yup, like the ones you cut those fritos with that you call toenails) and an empty 620 return spool.

Step 1: blow that grimey old toenail clippin' out of the nailclippers
Step 2: grab the 120 and start cutting the edge of the spool down to where the film is loaded up, essentially making it narrower. Match it up against the empty 620 spool for size comparision.
Step 3: load that bitch up and start shooting.
    Step 4: profit.

Those High School Cesar's were the best Polka Band I ever heard.... so how'd you get Guitar George away from the Sultans of Swing?

I'm gonna have to hire you guys for next year's Shakedown...
